Tom Boggs

“When the Republicans are in the White House, they spend money trying to stop stuff. When Democrats are in the White House, there is less money spent on trying to stop stuff than on trying to get stuff done. I have been doing this for forty years, and I can give you that assessment.”

Born into a political family in Louisiana, with a mother and father who both served in Congress, Thomas Hale Boggs Jr. has built a career as lobbyist and lawyer focused on the intersection between government and business. He helped negotiate the government rescue of Chrysler in 1979 and continues to focus on regulatory issues.
